Chapters from the history of the city – the exposition is located in the historical
premises of the first capital house and the adjacent Straussian house on
Liberators Square. Through historical objects, photographs and
of archival documents brings closer important events and personalities, rich
economic, national, cultural and sports traditions of Liptovský Mikuláš.

The exhibition “”Mikulášska mučiareň”” was opened to the public in December
1999 in the basement space in the main building of the museum on Náměstí osloboditelův,
in the part of the Straussian house.
