It is unbelievable that the city of Žilina was the first in the then
of the Czechoslovak Republic, which had an indoor 50-meter Olympic pool.
Construction began in 1959 and the first visitors could swim already on the 15th.
7. 1963.

In the years 1991 – 1996, the total reconstruction of the buildings took place. Today
in addition to the 50-meter indoor one, two 50-meter outdoor ones serve the public
swimming pools with water slide, sauna, massages and much more.
